Monfort/BNM was established in May of 2010 as the result of Monfort Electronics Marketing acquiring BNM Security Sales (Security Division of Brainard Nielsen Marketing of Elk Grove Village, Illinois). Monfort Electronics Marketing and BNM Security Sales shared a significant number of products in adjacent territories over the last several years.  These products included, but were not limited to; Panasonic Security Solutions, IDenticard, Comnet, Winsted, and Talkaphone. 

Kevin Halverson, a 20+ year employee of BNM Security Sales has transitioned to Monfort Electronics Marketing.  Don Danko, a 20+ year employee of Panasonic, joined Monfort as Executive Vice President of the new company. In addition to those three individuals, both Mark Clemens and Vince Veneziale have active roles in the management of Monfort/BNM. From an overall operations perspective, Monfort (serving IN/KY/OH/MI/wPA/WV) maintains its own outside sales force and branch offices as does Monfort/BNM (serving the IL/WI area).
